I love my Hogue grips.

Friday 26 August, 2011

Back in '97 I bought a Taurus Model 605. I didn't like the huge rubber factory grips for 3 reasons: 1. They were way too big for effective concealment. 2. ALL rubber grips stick to your clothes and expose your weapon. 3. My natural pointing position, with those grips, was a little high. I had Taurus USA, in Miami, send me a pair of wooden grips. They were a lot better, but still too big. They did lower my point of aim a bit, but it was still too high. Then I sent for a Hogue monogrip, made of Pau Ferro wood, with no finger grips, and no checkering. PERFECTION. Very small, very smooth, very concealable, and my point of aim was perfect.
